The Northern Journalism Training Initiative is celebrating its second cohort today

As our March 10-April 4, 2025, training wrapped up, CBC North interviewed Patricia Sareenee and Cheyenne Haogak (Community Journalism Training Participants).

The organization offers training to Indigenous and northern people who want to become journalists. Seven participants from Hay River, Fort Smith, and Yellowknife took part in the latest month-long course, which wraps up this week.
