Northern Journalism Training Initiative (NJTI) is seeking a self-directed, organized, and strong communicator to fill its second Training Instructor position. This role is a temporary position with a flexible location within the NT.
As a Co-Training Instructor, you will be equally responsible for the delivery of NJTI trainings across the NT with your Lead Instructor. Your work will be driven by and respond to community needs during our training programs. You will contribute significantly to NJTI’s training curriculum development, fostering strong community relationships, and ensuring our programming meets the diverse needs of those we serve.
In this position you will be required to travel to NT communities, where travel, accommodations and per diems will be provided. NJTI is planning to deliver our next four-week training in March-April of 2025 in the community of Hay River, NT during which Training Instructors will be expected to work full-time hours and may incur additional hours during this period.
In this position you will work closely with our Project Director to ensure the delivery of NJTI’s culturally-relevant and community-minded training programming across the NT.
